My Most Favoritest Christmas Card!!!

as my dad was telling me whose card was whose, we realized two people we had forgotten. So I had to do two cards last minute. One was Card #450 and the last one was this one. For this one my dad asked me to make a super pretty card for my cousin Wilson cuz he made a big impression on my dad this past summer when my parents went down there.

Apparently Wilson is a great dancer!!

I knew I wanted to make an easel card because they're so elegant and I wanted to use Angel Tilda. But as I finished up and was about to lay the image over the front I couldn't shake the feeling that it wouldn't look right. So I looked in my drawer and remembered I had seen one of my pretty poinsettias that Pam had gotten me the day before. So I pulled it out, added pop-up dots and voila! I added the gold charms later on.

When I showed my parents this card they were amazed! They LOVED it!!! I had to make the envelope myself because I don't know how to make my Cricut cut out square envelopes. The ones it makes are too wide. It took me a couple of hours to do everything but well worth it.

Here's Tilda as Unwrapped Tilda. I love the Designer Paper on the card. The biggest one. I didn't find it in a Christmas Pack. It was in one of my other floral ones. I went through all my pads and ripped out pages I thought might work with a Christmas theme because I was running out of Christmas paper. I wanted variety from what I was always using.

Edwin and Tilda Celebrate the Holidays... in Ecuador!!

Here are more of my cards for my relatives in Ecuador. A lot of these are for my cousins. We have a big family down there. We couldn't send to everyone unfortunately.

This is Magnolia Stamp #3020 Cozy Tilda. I love coloring this stamp. The hearts at top are a bit difficult if you don't have a fine-tip point but I make up for it but cutting closely to the lines.

This is the first card I made for my relatives in Ecuador. I thought I was going to make all of them with Tilda with a Piglet because in Ecuador pigs are called chanchos in colloquial. And little piggies are called chanchitos. Native cuisine in Ecuador consists mostly of pork so I thought it would be cute to send this Tilda with the chanchito.

Finally, one of my favorite Tildas. This is the Angel Tilda I think? She's not on the site right now so I can't link back to her (or Tilda with piglet). But I really love the way this card came out. The ribbon is so beautiful and soft and I love the snowflakes. I sued Prismacolor Pencils to color this one and Prismacolor markets for the stars, wings, and headband.

Also, I'm trying out different sizes for my pix. I like the way the bigger pix look but I take so many pix that it might fill up too much space. Not sure yet what to do.
