Two Baby Shower Cards For My Cousin Jenny

Here are two cards I made last for my cousin Jenny. We celebrated her Baby Shower on Saturday for her soon-to-be-here son, Jeremy.My sister-in-law Gladys asked me to make her a baby shower card so I made the first one for her. The second one (brown) is from my family. I wanted to do something different for both so I choose the scalloped easel card for Glady and the tri-shutter for me. They were a lot of fun to make and my cousin and the guests were really in awe. Jenny passed the cards around the room and everyone had a smile on their faces as they looked at them. It was a very nice feeling :)

Tri-Shutter Card For A Baby Girl

Okay this is my last entry for today. This is another Tri-Shutter card. I made this for my friend Jessica from high school who just had a baby. Her name's Patricia Rose and she's such a cutie! I wanted to go with the Princess and storybook theme. The DP is from DCWV's Fairytale stack. The butterflies and ballerina dress are from a 3-D sticker set I have. And the sequined stars are some embellies my mom saw at Jo-Ann's and asked me to get. At first I didn't like them but now I'm glad I bought them because they fit right in with the color scheme. Tri-Shutter Card For A Baby Boy

Here's another Tri-shutter card. Now that I know how to make them they're ALL I want to make!! I will try other templates though. I want to try the Ladder template and I want to try the Round, square, and heart easel cards. After my mom saw my co-worker's card she asked me to make a tri-shutter card for her boss who just had a baby boy.  So currently I've inked up a bunch of my Magnolia stamps and am in the process of coloring them. Expect to see Maggies on my next cards!!

This is the other card that Eryn had to choose from. I used a stamp from Jo-Ann's, my Prismacolor markers, chalks, and embellishments as well as Nana's Kids DP Stack.

An Avett Brothers Postcard and a Baby Shower!

Today I'm posting up two cards. The first I made two weeks ago the second I made this past weekend.

First up we have Taryn's card. Last month Taryn was kind enough to let a bunch of us (more than 10 people) stay at her house upstate when we went to see The Avett Brothers perform in Ithaca. For her hospitality I decided I would thank her with this awesome card!!! The front and back are DPs that TAB uses in their artwork so I found it fitting to use it for this. I continued with the black and orange and red color scheme throughout. She e-mailed me and let me know that she thought it was really awesome so I'm really happy :) I have to admit it was a little hard to part with this one. I really love it AND it's a great reminder of the fun I had.

Next up is my co-worker Eryn's (Trouble as I call her, 'cuz she is!) card. She asked me to make her a Baby Shower card for a boy so I decided on this one here. I love the DP, it's from the DCWV Nana's Kids and I used rub-ons, stamps, and more embellishments. I'm glad I used the brown and tan colors.

  This monkey is the cutest thing ever.





 The envelope has the same monkey and some of his friends...Overall I really love this card. I made another one so she could pick of the two but I'm glad she picked this one because it was the one I liked the most as well :)

Gaby's Last Cards

These are the last cards that my niece Gaby made. I miss her so much!!
