Anniversary And Valentine's Day Cards

Oh, l'amour... what a lovely thing. I first met Henry last August in Ecuador and we started dating in January of this year. We got married in May--something I never thought would happen to me. But... I just knew early on that he was the person for me and he knew before I did so imagine that!!! I'm still in matrimony bliss and decided to make an anniversary card for when we started dating, our one-year anniversary, and a Valentine's Day card. Glady said dating doesn't really count anymore since we're married now, but I wanted to make him one because the images were just so cute! I used the cute squares from Lili of the Valley again.

FYI, our civil wedding was May 30th, 2013, our church wedding will be September 21, 2013 in Ecuador. Gotta work on those invites!

P.S. I added some photos of us on our wedding day. :)

This is our one-year wedding anniversary card.

Christmas Calendar Magnet Postcards

Okay, so next up are some Christmas Calendar Magnet postcards. I made these for a few people in Ecuador, one for myself, and one for my best-friend, Marjorie. I used Lili of the Valley cute squares on all postcards. I swear I love that store!!! I have so many stamps and cute squares from them! I really miss buying from them since I'm not in the states all the time now.

This is Marjorie's postcard:

Welcome Miss Vicki!!!!

I left for Ecuador in June of this year (hence no card posting) and this past October I came back for the birth of my niece, Victoria. She was born on October 22nd at Stamford Hospital and boy does she look like my brother! Holy moly! Anywho, she's my little sweet pea. I decided to make an easel card to mark her arrival into this world. Being that her mother loves the color purple and she has purple elements in her nursery, I decided to maker her a color-themed card. I used a cute square from Lily of the Valley (my favorite store), different patterned paper, and glitter, flowers, and lace. Glady said it almost looked like Vicki was on a bed :)

I also had a picture taken of her and I, desaturated it and added pink elements. Then I typed a small sentiment on the photo, printed it and framed it in.... a purple frame. I made the same frame for myself but in blue. Behold, little Miss Vicki's first card made by her auntie Jackie.

Another Sporty Birthday Card For Mal And A Christmas Card Too!

In November, my co-worker Mal (one of my favorite repeat customers!) asked me to make her another sporty birthday card as well as an early Christmas card for a friend. The sporty card was a soccer themed card that featured the Cosmos team. The Christmas card featured Wrapped Tilda and square cards from Lili of the Valley.

Two Father's Day Cards And A Sporty One

Okay so I'm trying to catch up with old cards. Cards 637 and 638 are two Father's Day cards I made for my cousin Lizbeth in June. The first is for her father. He loves Virgin Mary from Guadalupe. For his card I wanted to try a card I've never done before. The image I found online, I honestly can't remember from where though. The second card is for her grandpa (my uncle). For him she wanted something fun so I decided to use my cute square cards from Lili of the Valley (love them!!!) For his card I decided to use a new template as well. It took a while but I was able to complete everything by the deadline. I also created a box using my Martha Stewart scoring board so that the card/box would fit.I really liked the new templates and want to use them  more often!

Card 639 is a sporty birthday card I made for my co-worker, Mal. She asked me to make a birthday card for one of her friends. He is a fan of the New York Red Bulls soccer team, and the Juventus soccer team from Italy. And for each team she wanted me to add a certain image. Below, my creations...
